an abstract class converting directions to rgb values
The base of every color key that turns a crystal or specimen direction into a color - the inverse pole figure colorings above all. A deriving class implements direction2color; the fundamental sector, the symmetry and the post rotation of the color space live here.
Syntax
dM = directionColorKey(cs)
rgb = dM.direction2color(h)Input
| cs | symmetry, or anything carrying one |
| h | Miller or vector3d |
Output
| dM | directionColorKey |
| rgb | list of RGB triplets |
Class Properties
| sym | the symmetry the sector is taken of |
| sR | sphericalRegion the key is defined on |
| colorPostRotation | rotation applied to the color space |
| dir2color | @function_handle doing the actual conversion |
Derived Classes
| HSVDirectionKey | white in the center, MTEX default |
| TSLDirectionKey | the coloring used by TSL / OIM |
| HKLDirectionKey | the coloring used by HKL Channel 5 |
