an abstract class converting directions to rgb values

The base of every color key that turns a crystal or specimen direction into a color - the inverse pole figure colorings above all. A deriving class implements direction2color; the fundamental sector, the symmetry and the post rotation of the color space live here.

Syntax

dM = directionColorKey(cs)
rgb = dM.direction2color(h)

Input

cs symmetry, or anything carrying one
h Miller or vector3d

Output

dM directionColorKey
rgb list of RGB triplets

Class Properties

sym the symmetry the sector is taken of
sR sphericalRegion the key is defined on
colorPostRotation rotation applied to the color space
dir2color @function_handle doing the actual conversion

TSLDirectionKey the coloring used by TSL / OIM
HKLDirectionKey the coloring used by HKL Channel 5
