class representing 3 dimensional grains

A grain3d is a list of polyhedra, given by the incidence matrix I_GF between grains and the boundary faces of a grain3Boundary. It is what calcGrains returns for volume data, and the three dimensional counterpart of grain2d.

Syntax

grains = calcGrains(ebsd3)
grains = grain3d(V,F,I_GF,ori,CSList,phaseList)

Input

V vector3d, the vertices
F faces, as a cell array or an n × 3 array
I_GF incidence matrix grains × faces, -1 for an inward normal
ori mean orientation of each grain
CSList cell list of crystalSymmetry
phaseList phase of each grain

Output

grains grain3d

numFaces number of boundary faces per grain
