BungeColorKey edit page

converts orientations to rgb values according to their Euler angles

The three Bunge Euler angles, each scaled to its fundamental range, become the three RGB channels. Simple and one to one, but the coloring jumps where the Euler angle range wraps.

Syntax

oM = BungeColorKey(cs)
rgb = oM.orientation2color(ori)

Input

cs crystalSymmetry
ori orientation

Output

oM BungeColorKey
rgb list of RGB triplets

Class Properties

center quaternion the angles are measured from
phi1Range, PhiRange, phi2Range the Euler angle ranges mapped to 0..1
