phaseItem edit page

an abstract class for anything that can be a phase of a map

The common base of crystalSymmetry and notIndexed, so that the CSList of a phaseList may hold both. It is a handle and heterogeneous class, which is what lets a mixed cell list of symmetries and notIndexed entries be concatenated into one array.

Class Properties

mineral mineral name
color color used in an EBSD phase plot
isIndexed is this a real phase or the notIndexed placeholder

Derived Classes

crystalSymmetry an indexed phase
notIndexed the placeholder for unindexed measurements
