SO3VectorFieldHarmonic.SO3VectorFieldHarmonic edit page

a class representing a vector field on SO(3) by a harmonic series

The three components of the tangent vector are stored as a 3x1 array of SO3FunHarmonic. Since one of the two symmetries is consumed by the tangent space, the inner SO3FunHarmonic carries only the other one.

Syntax

SO3VF = SO3VectorFieldHarmonic(SO3F)
SO3VF = SO3VectorFieldHarmonic(fun)
SO3VF = SO3VectorFieldHarmonic(fun,'bandwidth',N)

SO3F 3x1 SO3FunHarmonic, the x, y and z component
fun SO3VectorField or @function_handle to be approximated
