bilinear interpolation on a regular grid in polar coordinates
Unlike S2FunTri, which triangulates arbitrary nodes, this one assumes a regular theta over rho grid, which makes evaluation a direct index computation rather than a search.
Syntax
sF = S2FunGrid(values)
sF = S2FunGrid(fun)Input
| values | nTheta x nRho matrix of function values |
| fun | @function_handle, sampled on a 1 degree grid |
Output
| sF | S2FunGrid |
Class Properties
| values | the function values |
| gSize | size of the grid |
| s | symmetry the grid refers to |
| antipodal | f(v) = f(-v) |
| isReal | the function takes only real values |
