S2AxisFieldTri.S2AxisFieldTri edit page

a class representing an axis field on the sphere by values at nodes

The field is given by an axis at every vertex of a spherical triangulation and interpolated linearly in between.

Syntax

aF = S2AxisFieldTri(nodes,values)
aF = S2AxisFieldTri(fun)

Input

nodes vector3d or S2Triangulation
values vector3d, the axis at each node
fun @function_handle, sampled on an equispaced grid

Output

aF S2AxisFieldTri

Class Properties

tri S2Triangulation
vertices vector3d, the nodes of the triangulation
values vector3d, the axis at each node
antipodal always true for an axis field
